Conduct routine custodial duties including dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, and surface disinfection to maintain a hygienic environment. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and ensuring facilities are well-maintained and safe for all users. Use manual handling techniques to lift heavy cleaning supplies or equipment safely while following safe lifting practices. Operate cleaning machinery efficiently and maintain equipment in good working order. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment including floor buffers. Ability to handle chemical agents safely by following chemical handling safety procedures. Physical capability to perform manual tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts.
