This opportunity allows you to maintain facilities through dependable cleaning, organization, and attention to detail while supporting a healthy environment for employees, customers, and visitors. We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout a manufacturing facility. The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning production areas, restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas while following all company safety procedures. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience is beneficial. Experience Requirements Ability to safely use common cleaning equipment, tools, and cleaning products.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and workplace safety.
Ability to work independently while following cleaning schedules and established procedures.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Dependable work habits and a commitment to maintaining clean, professional facilities.
Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
Manufacturing or industrial cleaning experience is a plus.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Must be able to follow instructions and safety procedures.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace. Job Duties Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout the facility.
Clean and sanitize production areas and common areas.
Clean and maintain restrooms and breakrooms.
Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility.
Clean up spills and debris promptly.
Dust and wipe down surfaces, doors, and other fixtures.
Restock restroom and janitorial supplies.
Safely use cleaning chemicals and janitorial equipment.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
Follow established cleaning schedules and safety procedures.
Perform other general cleaning duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience cleaning commercial, industrial, office, healthcare, educational, or manufacturing facilities is preferred.
Experience operating floor care equipment, buffers, scrubbers, or other custodial equipment is beneficial.
Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical usage, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety practices is considered an asset.
Individuals who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and pride in their work are well positioned for success as a Janitor. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
