Duties Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a healthy environment. Conduct heavy lifting tasks with proper safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or cleaning equipment. Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, removing trash removal, and ensuring restrooms are hygienic at all times. Perform routine facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention. Support general janitorial duties with attention to detail to uphold cleanliness standards across all assigned areas. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and the proper handling of chemical agents. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safety protocols. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards staff and visitors. Familiarity with safety protocol adherence related to chemical handling and facility maintenance. Ability to work weekends consistently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality in scheduled shifts.
