The Environmental Services Technician maintains assigned areas in the hospital and/or dental/medical clinics in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. Responds to special requests for cleaning or assistance and maintains a smooth flow of work. The Environmental Services Technician is cross-trained in all areas and facilities of PDH. Compensation For Benefited, Full-Time Pay Scale Base Rate $19.91-$25.41 per hour (or $41,412.80-$52,854.39 annually) Starting pay is determined using our non-clinical pay scales, which feature 6 steps recognizing up to 6 years of relevant experience. Eligible employees may also receive shift differential and holiday pay Full-Time Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, solutions, and procedures as relates to a health care facility. Communication in the English language effectively, both verbally and in writing. Basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. Selects cleaning materials and supplies and prepares solutions according to procedure. Loads service cart and transports to work area as needed. Cleans assigned areas by washing furniture, tile, fixtures, and equipment with germicidal solution. High dusts vents, cabinets and other furniture. Collects soiled linen and distributes clean linen.
