On-site Porter

The Onsite Porter is responsible for keeping our apartment communities neat, secure, and appealing. As the porter, you maintain cleanliness and orderliness within our locations. Your attention to detail and dedication to providing excellent customer service will help ensure that all our residents are satisfied.

Essential Functions:

Report all ongoing issues to the property manager promptly via text or call. Report and handle emergency and urgent issues. Support with managing access to vacant units and storage keys as needed. Inspect the full property daily performing inspections. Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry room, sweep the common areas, and keep the trash bin area clean. Follow established safety procedures and protocols at all times. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with colleagues and customers. Adhere to cleaning schedules and deadlines to ensure a clean and orderly environment. Posting community updates, maintenance notices, 3-day notices, etc. as needed Assisting with coordinating access to vendors during the quotation process and for maintenance/repairs Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1+ years of property management experience Must be able to move around the facility and be capable of inspecting various areas, including climbing stairs or ladders if necessary. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Capable of lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds. Comfortable working in various indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to cleaning chemicals and odors. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to bend down to pick up items off the floor.
