Education & Experience:

High School diploma preferred. Previous experience in cleaning and sanitation, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Reviews and follows the cleaning schedule. Fills out cleaning records. Performs cosmetic cleaning and deep baths. Maintains cleanliness of the following areas: restrooms and locker rooms halls offices lunch rooms conference room training room laboratory control room Provides cleaning materials to plant and warehouse staff. Prepares dilutions of cleaning chemicals. Maintains order and cleanliness in the janitor rooms. Makes routine walkthroughs in the production area and reviews the need for replacement of cleaning utensils. Performs routine checks of the condition of paper, soap and hand sanitizer dispensers and promptly reports any damages and needed replacements. Completes inventory of cleaning products and cleaning chemicals.

Operates the following lawn equipment:

zero-turn lawn mower. push mower string trimmer backpack blower Meets the requirements of HACCP, BRC, and FSMA. Practices and observes Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Responsible for ensuring all assigned areas are sanitary and orderly on a daily basis. Practices safe and secure environment, reporting to a supervisor any observed issues (i.e. food safety, physical safety, environment, equipment). Performs working at heights. Sets up and works off of all types of portable ladders. Provides laundry service to soiled Company-owned shirts and pants.

Operates the following equipment indoors:

scissor lift as needed for working at heights aerial/man lift as needed for working at heights forklift with or without man basket attachment Operate backpack HEPA vacuum. Does pre-use inspection of equipment and completes reports. Performs other duties as assigned.
