Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly. Operate custodial equipment efficiently, including floor buffers, vacuums, and cleaning tools to ensure optimal results. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or minor repairs when necessary. Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and manual handling activities to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and proper use of cleaning equipment. Ability to handle chemical agents safely following established safety protocol adherence. Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required for moving supplies or equipment. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
