We are currently hiring a Floater to provide cleaning services at multiple commercial facilities throughout the evening while supporting our supervisory team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in a job well done, and is interested in potentially moving into a supervisory role as our company continues to expand. What You'll Be Doing Commercial Cleaning & Quality Control Travel between multiple commercial facilities each evening to perform cleaning services. Complete general janitorial duties, including restroom cleaning, trash removal, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and other assigned tasks. Ensure all cleaning assignments are completed thoroughly and meet company quality standards and in a timely manner. Provide additional cleaning coverage when employees are absent or facilities need extra attention. Supplies & Inventory Monitor and track cleaning supply inventory at assigned locations. Report low supplies or missing cleaning products to management. Ensure cleaning products and equipment are properly maintained and stored. Communicate any facility or equipment concerns promptly. Operational Support Assist the Supervisor with daily operational needs. Help ensure accounts are properly serviced and ready for the next business day. Communicate with management regarding cleaning concerns, supply needs, or other issues. Be flexible and willing to assist at different locations as needed. Schedule & Availability Monday-Friday, evening shifts Approximately 4-6 hours per night Start and end times may vary depending on assigned locations and coverage needs. Open weekend availability is required for emergency cleaning coverage when needed. This position requires flexibility, as assignments and locations may change depending on operational needs. Driving Requirements This is a mobile position, and driving between multiple facilities is an essential part of the job. Valid driver's license required. Reliable personal transportation required. Must be comfortable using your own vehicle to travel between accounts throughout the Greater Sacramento Area. Business-related mileage is reimbursed. Must be willing to travel throughout the Greater Sacramento Area. Qualifications Previous commercial janitorial or custodial experience preferred. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality cleaning. Dependable, punctual, and flexible with changing assignments. Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Comfortable performing physical cleaning duties throughout the shift. Willingness to assist management and other employees when needed. Ability to maintain accurate supply inventory and report operational concerns. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
