About Us:
Ballington Academy is a Public Charter School Educating Students from Transitional Kindergarten to Fifth Grade. We Offer an Innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) Curriculum for all Grades Using a Hands-on Project-Based Learning Approach, Teaching Real-World, 21st Century Skills. We are seeking a caring individual to help support our Students and Teachers in San Bernardino, CA.
Job Opportunity:
The Custodian/Janitor under the direction of the principal, will perform a variety of general maintenance work to maintain facilities, including but not limited to repairs, keeping the facility free from trash, floor cleaning, power washing, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and other maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to Volunteers of America and Ballington Policies and Procedures. Upkeep all aspects of the school building. Maintain facility and equipment in proper working conditions. Paint, surface repair, and/or touch up interior and exterior of building. Put together furniture, and put away deliveries. Maintain cleanliness of all school areas such as hallways, classrooms and restrooms. Wash windows on a periodic basis. Maintain Safety Drill and Safety Protocol records Responsible for keeping storage sheds in neat order at all times and keeping an inventory of the contents.
