POSITION OVERVIEW

We are hiring a dependable Night Shift Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of facilities during off-hours. This role ensures that the building is clean, safe, and ready for daily operations by completing thorough overnight cleaning and maintenance tasks with minimal disruption.

Pay Rate:

$22.53 hourly

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Night Shift Janitor / Custodian will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment. Duties include, but are not limited to: Perform nightly cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas Empty trash and recycling; manage waste disposal in compliance with local regulations Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, elevators, and shared equipment Restock janitorial and restroom supplies Lock/unlock designated areas and ensure building security procedures are followed Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards Safely handle cleaning chemicals and operate custodial equipment

REQUIREMENTS

Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred (night shift experience a plus) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and consistency in cleaning standards Comfortable working overnight hours and in low-occupancy environments Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and safety procedures

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to perform physically demanding duty labor and lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 100 pounds. • Physically able to walk, stand, lift, reach, bend, kneel, climb, twist, pull, squat, grasp and use arm-hand coordination on a consistent basis. .
