There are 15 elementary schools and 3 intermediate schools. Six out of seventeen schools receive Title I funds. Schools range from the highest student enrollment (730) to the lowest student enrollment (269). The percentage of English Learners is 29% representing 56 languages spoken in the district. Oak Grove School District's focus is driven by the LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan) and school site-specific SPSA (Single Plan for Student Achievement) which identifies short, intermediate, and long-term goals. Essential Elements:

Print To perform general cleaning and custodial functions in an assigned school site(s) or facility. Employees in this job class are normally assigned to night and midday shifts and exercise responsibility for the general cleanliness of assigned locations. Persons employed in this position will normally be required to work a day shift when schools are not in session.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of safe use and operation of equipment and chemicals used in janitorial and custodial work. Skill to read at a level sufficient to successfully perform required duties; understand and follow oral and written instructions in an independent manner.
