In this vital role, you will ensure that all work areas, equipment, and production lines meet strict hygiene and safety regulations. Your proactive approach will help sustain a safe, compliant, and efficient environment, supporting our commitment to quality and operational excellence. Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize packing line equipment, conveyors, sorters, brushes, belts, rollers and related machinery.
• Disassemble and reassemble machine parts as needed for deep cleaning.
• Remove debris, produce residue, dirt, and buildup from equipment and surrounding areas.
• Follow established sanitation schedules.
• Properly use and dilute cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines.
• Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building.
• Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes.
• Assists in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and cafeteria.
• Ensures heating and cooling systems are operational.
• Maintains a neat and orderly janitors' room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
• Assists in examining premises for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to maintenance department.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements Proven experience in industrial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial roles within manufacturing, food processing, or warehouse settings. Knowledge of chemical agent handling and safety procedures related to sanitation tasks. Familiarity with GMP standards and food safety regulations is highly desirable. Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during cleaning shifts. Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high sanitation standards. Excellent understanding of personal protective equipment (PPE) use and respiratory protection protocols to ensure safety at all times.
