Overview We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to join our facilities maintenance team. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across various operational areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of cleaning and sanitation tasks, utilizing appropriate equipment and chemicals to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal across designated areas. Conduct specialized cleaning procedures such as window washing, pressure washing, and floor care to uphold cleanliness standards. Handle and operate cleaning equipment safely, including vacuums, pressure washers, and floor buffers. Manage chemical handling procedures with strict adherence to safety guidelines and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Support infection control protocols through sanitation practices aligned with health regulations. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving supplies or cleaning equipment as needed. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and supply inventories for accountability. Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper disposal of hazardous materials. Skills Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning procedures. Skilled in pressure washing, and general floor care techniques. Knowledge of chemical handling safety practices and infection control measures. Ability to operate various cleaning tools and equipment efficiently. Excellent manual handling skills for heavy lifting and moving supplies safely. Strong customer service orientation to respond professionally to facility occupants' needs. Familiarity with sanitation standards, PPE use, and health regulations relevant to cleaning operations. Effective communication skills to coordinate tasks within a team environment. Experience in laundry services or related custodial duties is advantageous. Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. We are currently hiring Sanitation / Janitorial Technicians to clean commercial kitchen exhaust hoods at facilities such as restaurants, hotels, casinos, grocery stores , and more.

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
