With multiple locations across the South Bay, we focus on teaching essential water safety skills and advanced stroke techniques to students of all ages, from infants to adults, through private, semi-private, and group classes. Overview We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitorial Team Members to join our cleaning crew during weekdays and weekend in our Torrance and our Redondo Beach location . In this vital role, you will ensure our facilities remain spotless, safe, and welcoming for students and staff alike. Your efforts will help maintain the high standards of cleanliness that support our positive learning environment. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, employee lounge, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies Conduct floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming to keep surfaces pristine Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and fixtures to uphold a professional appearance Restock supplies in bathrooms and common areas as needed to ensure comfort and hygiene Follow established safety procedures during cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly Support overall facility upkeep by ensuring trash is emptied and high-touch surfaces are sanitized regularly Requirements Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and thoroughness Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during scheduled shifts Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods throughout the shift Reliable punctuality and a positive attitude towards maintaining a clean environment Join our team and contribute to creating a safe, clean space where students can learn water safety skills confidently!
