Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums efficiently and safely. Handle chemical agents with proper safety procedures to ensure effective sanitation while minimizing hazards. Maintain floors through mopping to preserve their appearance and durability. Follow established safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored securely and maintained in good working order. Provide courteous customer service to building occupants or visitors as needed. Skills Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial settings. Proficiency in cleaning techniques and familiarity with cleaning equipment including industrial cleaning tools.
