Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian to join our team and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help create a positive experience for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Conduct commercial cleaning duties such as window washing, floor polishing, and surface disinfecting to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Restock cleaning supplies and materials as needed to ensure efficient daily operations. Follow safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to the appropriate personnel for quick resolution. Adhere to established janitorial procedures and quality standards to consistently deliver excellent service. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial or institutional setting is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe environment through proper cleaning practices.
