Job Description

Hiring EVS Technicians - Golden, CO As an EVS Technician , you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the hospital. This position supports patient care by ensuring all assigned areas meet strict cleanliness and infection‑control standards. Job Responsibilities Clean and service rooms including patient areas, offices, and common spaces, following protocols for handling exposure to bodily fluids Sweep, mop, and wax floors using sanitized equipment, including floor polishers Restock essential supplies such as tissues, paper towels, and soap Dispose of trash and medical waste properly, ensuring trash cans remain sanitized Safely move furniture without causing damage to items or facility walls Use properly labeled chemicals and equipment while following all cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
Essential Skills:
Experience in EVS , janitorial , or hospital cleaning Strong customer service skills with courtesy, compassion, and positive communication
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months of hospital or EVS experience Ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols and maintain high sanitation standards Why Work Here? Work Environment:
You will work within a hospital setting alongside a team of 6-8 EVS professionals under the guidance of the Lead EVS and Director of Plant Operations.
The facility includes:
40 patient beds Cafeteria Two‑story layout Three small gyms Common areas Contractors will focus specifically on room maintenance , ensuring all patient spaces remain clean, sanitary, and ready for use. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Golden, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
