What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Closing Date Position closes at 5:00 pm Mountain Standard Time on 9/8/2026. Position Summary Responsible for the daily cleaning of Southern Ute Indian Tribe Buildings and offices. This position is a grade N6; pay is $17.05/hour. Education And Experience Must be able to read and write in the English language. Must have knowledge and understanding of procedures used in cleaning. Must pass a thorough background check including Criminal History and fingerprint check. Must pass a pre-employment drug test. Preferred Qualifications First aid and hazardous chemical training. Valid driver license and insurable under the Tribal vehicle insurance policy.
