A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Shop Assistant - Automotive Collision Center Highlands Ranch Collision Center is looking for a Shop Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on position that works throughout the shop and helps keep the day moving. You'll work directly with technicians, help organize vehicles and parts, and take care of the small-but-important things that keep a busy collision repair facility running smoothly. For someone interested in the automotive industry, this is a great opportunity to get inside a professional repair shop, learn how the process works, work alongside experienced technicians, and build useful hands-on experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
Helping technicians locate, organize, and procure parts needed for repairs Keeping parts and work areas organized Moving vehicles in and out of the shop as needed Helping maintain an organized parking lot and vehicle flow Assisting with general shop organization and cleanup Helping different departments when an extra set of hands is needed Taking on day-to-day tasks that can change depending on what the shop needs This isn't a position where every day looks exactly the same. We're looking for someone who can stay productive, pay attention, ask questions, and adjust when priorities change.
What We're Looking For:
You don't need to come in knowing everything about collision repair. More important to us is someone who: Shows up reliably and is ready to work Is organized and pays attention to details Is comfortable working around vehicles, tools, and technicians Can follow directions but also recognize when something needs to be done Is willing to ask questions and learn Works well with a team Can adapt when the day's priorities change Has a valid driver's license and is comfortable safely moving customer vehicles An interest in cars, automotive repair, body work, mechanical work, or learning a skilled trade is a big plus.
Pay, Schedule & Benefits Pay:
$19.50-$20.50 per hour, depending on experience and fit
Schedule:
Monday through Friday during normal business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00PM) If you've been looking for a way to get your foot in the door in the automotive industry and would rather learn by actually being around the work than sitting in a classroom, we'd like to hear from you. Highlands Ranch Collision Center is a busy, established collision repair facility with experienced technicians and plenty of opportunities to learn how the industry works from the inside.
Pay:
$19.50 - $20.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
