Full Job Description Position Purpose:
The overall responsibility of the Lead Custodian is to maintain the cleanliness of the interior and exterior areas of the facility. To provide a neat and clean environment for the employees of Andrew Wommack Ministries, students and staff of Charis Bible College as well as visitors. To assist the Custodial Supervisor in leading the custodial team in all aspects of the duties required for cleaning the facility.
Essential Duties:
Assign custodial duties to staff and regularly inspect their work to ensure that established standards are met. Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to custodial staff as needed. Take inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and inform the custodial supervisor when supplies are depleted. Assist with the screening and hiring of new job applicants. Provide training and guidance to custodial staff. Perform all custodial duties necessary in instances of staff shortages Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be on feet for long periods Must be able to effectively operate Windows-based computer and navigate
Microsoft Office Suite Requirements:
Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must sign the Statement of Faith A high school diploma or equivalent education is required. Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred. Must pass all required checks.
Experience:
Requires prior similar or equivalent experience. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
