Position Description Summary/Purpose :

This position performs routine cleaning of interior areas of all University buildings. We have the following open positions:

Riverside Magnet School:

Full-Time Shift:

9:00 am - 5:30 pm

Essential Job Functions/Primary Responsibilities :

Cleans, dusts, disinfects, vacuums, sweeps, mops as appropriate all interior areas of College buildings including offices, classrooms, conference rooms and learning centers, restrooms, cafeteria, computer rooms, laboratories, libraries, lounge areas, furniture, closets and windows. Tasks performed are standardized. Conducts all work in a safe manner and follows all work safety practices.

Other Functions :

Performs similar or related work as required, directed or as situation permits. Continues professional development and training; keeps current with trends. Assists other department staff as needed to promote a team effort.

Knowledge of cleaning methods and procedures; knowledge of the materials, supplies and equipment used in cleaning activities.

Education, Training and Experience :

High school diploma or GED with 1 to 2 weeks training Passing of pre-employment screening
