Applicant must be willing to submit to a DoD background check. Applicant must be able to obtain Sub Base New London Access Clearance performed by base security.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicant must have reliable transportation. Experience as a

FLOOR TECHNICIAN

with emphasis on striping, waxing, buffing, refinishing and basic maintenance of power floor equipment is required. Custodial experience with knowledge of custodial duties and responsibilities preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors

• Sweep and Mop floors
• Vacuum and Shampoo carpets
• Use of equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
• Clean and sanitize meat room, restroom/bathrooms
