Conduct floor care activities including buffing, polishing, stripping, sealing, and refinishing floors to preserve their appearance and longevity. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and general upkeep to support overall building operations. Follow safety protocols diligently during all custodial activities, including heavy lifting practices and manual handling techniques to prevent injuries. Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities, supply inventories, and safety compliance records for accountability and continuous improvement. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with cleaning procedures involving chemical agents and sanitation standards is essential. Experience operating cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or industrial vacuums is advantageous.
