Job Description

Join the Rooted in Bloom Cleaning Co. Team Rooted in Bloom Cleaning Co.

was built around something simple:

we believe cleaning should be done with care. We know how much a truly clean space can change the way a home feels. We're big on the little things, the corners people skip, the baseboards people forget, the fingerprints on the glass and the details that make someone walk into their home and immediately feel the difference. We're growing and looking for someone who shares that mindset. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Reliable and punctual Detail-oriented Hardworking and efficient Trustworthy and respectful Comfortable working independently and with a team Someone who genuinely enjoys cleaning and takes pride in their work Able to follow our cleaning standards and checklists Comfortable communicating with our team when something needs attention Experience is great, but it's not everything. We'd rather train someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic and attention to detail than hire someone experienced who doesn't care about the quality of their work. What You'll Be Doing Our work varies, which keeps things from getting boring!

You may help with:

Routine residential cleanings Deep cleans Airbnb turnovers Move-in and move-out cleanings Pre-listing and post-closing cleanings Office and small commercial cleanings Post-construction or renovation cleanups Occasional specialty cleaning projects Typical duties include cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, mirrors, glass and windows, baseboards, laundry, fixtures and other detailed cleaning based on the client's needs.

Requirements Applicants must:

Have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling to different client locations (mainly New Haven and Litchfield counties, but jobs may vary) Have a reliable way to communicate with our team Be able to safely perform physical cleaning duties for several hours at a time Be comfortable around pets Be dependable and show up when scheduled Be able to follow instructions and accept constructive feedback Be willing and able to pass a background check Because we're trusted inside our clients' homes and properties, trustworthiness and reliability are non-negotiable. . .

•What Matters Most to Us

•We don't expect perfection on day one. We can teach our process. What we can't teach is caring. We want someone who notices when something was missed, fixes it without being asked, takes pride in leaving a space better than they found it and understands that our clients are trusting us with their homes. If you're the type of person who finishes cleaning a room, steps back and thinks, "Okay… does this actually feel clean?" then you'll probably fit right in!
