Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall hygiene of commercial spaces by performing a variety of cleaning tasks with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of office buildings, retail spaces, or industrial facilities, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Conduct specialized floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to maintain high standards of appearance and safety. Clean carpets using appropriate methods such as extraction or steam cleaning to remove stains and improve air quality. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Handle waste disposal responsibly by emptying trash bins and recycling containers in accordance with environmental policies. Use janitorial equipment and cleaning chemicals safely and effectively while adhering to health and safety guidelines. Assist with general custodial duties including window washing, surface polishing, and light maintenance tasks as needed. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with environmental services practices including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning operations to ensure a secure work environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
