Commercial Cleaning Technician — $20.00/hour to start — Middletown, Townsend & Smyrna, DE (MOT area) ABE Building Services, LLC is a Delaware-based commercial cleaning and floor care company. We're hiring dependable part-time Cleaning Technicians for evening work at accounts throughout the Middletown, Townsend, and Smyrna (MOT) area, plus a few fill-in technicians to cover call-outs and vacations. What we offer $20.00/hour to start, W-2 employee, paid weekly Evening shifts starting after 6:00 PM, about 3 to 4 hours a night Possible weekend and holiday shifts All equipment, supplies, and chemicals provided Paid on-site training Crew Lead positions available at a higher rate for people who can run a site and a nightly checklist More hours as we add accounts What you'll do Clean and disinfect restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas Empty trash and recycling Dust, mop, vacuum, and spot clean glass Restock paper products and soap Follow a written nightly task list and secure your area at the end of the shift Requirements 18 years of age or older Reliable transportation to sites in Middletown, Townsend, and Smyrna Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stay on your feet for the shift Must be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug test Depending on the account, you may also need a fingerprint-based Delaware/FBI criminal history check and a Delaware Child Protection Registry check. ABE reimburses screening costs after your first paid shift. Prior cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, or floor care experience is a plus, not a must — we train.
