Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal in commercial and residential spaces Conduct detailed floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance Execute custodial tasks like restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting to promote a healthy environment Manage industrial cleaning tasks for larger facilities or specialized areas requiring advanced techniques Maintain facilities by performing basic maintenance tasks such as light repairs or reporting issues needing professional attention Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Document completed work and communicate any maintenance or safety concerns promptly to clients or supervisors Experience Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing Experience with industrial cleaning methods for large-scale facilities or specialized environments Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and basic repair skills is a plus Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, extractors, and pressure washers effectively Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Prior porter experience or background in facilities upkeep is advantageous Join us as an independent contractor committed to delivering exceptional janitorial services!
