Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Morning Restaurant Cleaner, where your energy and attention to detail will help create a spotless, welcoming environment for our guests and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant during morning hours, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Your proactive approach will contribute to a safe, hygienic space that reflects our commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of dining areas, kitchens, restrooms, and service stations each morning before opening Sanitize all surfaces, tables, chairs, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with bussing tables by clearing dishes and debris efficiently to maintain a tidy environment Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup for breakfast service Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers and other cleaning machinery Follow proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy cleaning supplies or equipment to prevent injury Ensure all sanitation standards are met consistently in accordance with restaurant health and safety regulations Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant cleaning is preferred; familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting of cleaning supplies or equipment Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness and safety Basic knife skills or culinary experience are advantageous for supporting light food prep tasks Understanding of kitchen health and safety standards to ensure compliance at all times Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks effectively Join us in creating a clean, safe environment that delights our guests from the moment they walk in!
