Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across various areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces Use specialized cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor buffers, and window cleaning tools to achieve optimal results Handle cleaning chemicals safely while adhering to proper chemical handling protocols and infection control standards Conduct window cleaning to ensure clear visibility and enhance building appearance Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and applying appropriate floor care techniques Provide laundry services when required, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly during all cleaning activities to ensure safety for yourself and others Perform heavy lifting tasks involving cleaning supplies or equipment with proper manual handling techniques Ensure sanitation standards are met consistently by following established procedures for infection control and custodial practices Operate cleaning machinery efficiently while maintaining all equipment in good working order Support custodial duties such as waste disposal, restocking supplies, and maintaining storage areas Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning procedures Knowledge of window cleaning techniques and pressure washing methods Experience with floor care including stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing floors Familiarity with chemical handling safety protocols and infection control practices Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting when necessary Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed Prior experience with laundry services is a plus but not required Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards Flexibility to work different shifts as needed in a fast-paced environment Join us in creating clean, safe spaces that foster productivity and well-being!
