In this energetic role, you will operate pressure washing equipment to clean a variety of outdoor and indoor surfaces, ensuring they look their best and meet safety standards. Duties Operate pressure washing equipment safely to clean building exteriors, sidewalks, parking lots, and other surfaces. Use hand tools and cleaning equipment to prepare surfaces before washing and to perform detailed cleaning tasks. Apply appropriate cleaning agents and techniques for different surfaces, including duct cleaning and floor buffing when necessary. Adhere strictly to safety protocols by wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, goggles, and hearing protection. Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy hoses or equipment, climbing ladders safely, and managing outdoor work environments. Conduct routine maintenance on cleaning equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Follow all safety procedures, including the use of fire extinguishers when required, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during outdoor work activities. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about work progress and addressing any concerns professionally. Experience Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with ladder use, heavy lifting, duct cleaning, and floor buffing techniques is advantageous. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Knowledge of safety protocol adherence, including PPE usage and fire extinguisher operation, is essential for maintaining a safe work environment. Strong manual handling skills combined with the ability to operate pressure washing units confidently will help you excel in this position.
