Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

MUST HAVE

Experience with changing lightbulbs and ballasts. Position Summary The Utilities Day Porter is responsible for maintaining facility functionality, cleanliness, and operational support throughout the day. This role requires hands-on maintenance skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks and work orders using a digital tracking system. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Utilities Change lightbulbs and ballasts ( required and critical skill ). Perform basic handyman tasks, including: Hanging items Minor hardware repairs Installing dispensers Shutting off leaking fixtures as needed Janitorial Services Clean and maintain restrooms. Refill paper products, soap, and other dispensers. Clean spills and address day-to-day cleanliness needs. Perform additional basic janitorial duties as assigned. Operations & Logistics Manage outgoing shipments and coordinate with shipping carriers. Track daily tasks and update work orders using Monday.com. Qualifications & Requirements Proven ability to change lightbulbs and ballasts (mandatory). Basic handyman and light maintenance experience. Ability to use digital tools such as Monday.com for task tracking. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong attention to safety, cleanliness, and organization. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing ladders. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds as required. Manual dexterity sufficient to use hand tools and maintenance equipment. Visual acuity to safely perform maintenance tasks such as replacing bulbs and ballasts. Ability to work indoors with occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals and maintenance materials. Work Environment Indoor facility environment. Moderate physical activity with varying daily tasks.
