Job Description
Overview Our client in Coral Gables is seeking Porters/Runners (full-time and part-time available). The Porter / Runner is responsible for supporting daily operations by maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas while transporting materials, supplies, documents, and equipment as needed. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Porter Duties Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces, common areas, and facilities. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed. Clean and sanitize designated areas according to company standards. Monitor and replenish supplies in break rooms, restrooms, and other common areas. Report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to management. Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms, events, or workstations. Runner Duties Deliver documents, packages, equipment, and supplies between departments, offices, or job sites. Assist with receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming deliveries. Pick up and transport materials as directed by management. Ensure timely and accurate completion of delivery requests. Support inventory management by moving and organizing stock and supplies. Assist team members with operational tasks as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous porter, runner, warehouse, facilities, or general labor experience is a plus. Valid driver's license may be required depending on job duties. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, if required. Ability to safely operate carts, dollies, and other material-handling equipment. Preferred Skills Knowledge of basic facility maintenance and safety procedures. Experience handling deliveries and inventory. Customer service mindset and professional demeanor.
