Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Handle cleaning chemicals and agents safely according to established safety protocols to ensure effective sanitation without risk. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums to maintain floors in pristine condition. Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas while adhering to sanitation standards. Follow safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained for optimal use. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
