Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Part-time weekends needed Onsite Janitor to join our team and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all. This role offers an energetic opportunity to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities through proactive cleaning routines and custodial tasks. The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional facility maintenance. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning processes, ensuring proper storage and disposal according to safety guidelines. Operate floor buffers and other floor care equipment to maintain shiny, well-maintained surfaces. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment following safe lifting practices. Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, offices, restrooms, and other designated spaces with attention to detail. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or touch-up painting as needed to support overall facility upkeep. Follow safety protocols at all times during custodial activities and report any hazards or maintenance issues promptly. Requirements Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus. Knowledge of chemical agent handling and safe cleaning practices is essential. Experience operating floor buffers and performing floor care duties is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a clean environment. Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts. Ability to work independently while following safety procedures and instructions.
