Responsibilities:

Responsible, for all custodial, grounds, mechanical and facility needs . Regularly patrols the campus to ensure upkeep and appearance. Ensure that outside dumpsters are properly maintained for regular trash pickup. Performs set up and tear down of facilities for services, meetings, funerals, conferences and events. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general repair work on campus. Ensure the churchs grounds and buildings (including the Thrift Shop) are well maintained, safe and operational. That will include routine checks, repairs, and preventive maintenance as needed. Ensure that campus is properly shut down and secured before leaving premises. Work with the office to coordinate scheduled events of church facilities for meetings, events and worship services.

Custodial Duties include:

Maintaining clean and safe church facilities, including Thrift Shop, Ragsdale Hall, offices, classrooms, choir room and East Lounge. Ensuring that restrooms are thoroughly cleaned and always stocked with proper supplies. Making sure the kitchen is clean and in compliance with standards. Ensuring that facilities are ready for all functions. Maintaining awareness of safety concerns and reporting concerns and emergencies to the church office. Having a weekly scheduled list of duties and a separate Work Order for tasks outside of basic, regular work. Available for emergencies including hurricanes and other disasters.
