Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.
Account Manager or Site Supervisor Job Summary City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Day Porter to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment at a busy automotive dealership. This is a customer-facing position responsible for ongoing light cleaning throughout dealership operating hours. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently around customers, dealership employees, and vehicle traffic. ResponsibilitiesShowroom and Customer Areas Keep showroom windows, doors, display cases, and glass surfaces clean and streak-free Dust and wipe down counters, furniture, vehicle displays, and other surfaces Vacuum and spot-clean carpets, rugs, and floor mats Empty trash containers and replace liners Maintain clean and welcoming customer waiting areas Restrooms Clean and sanitize restrooms multiple times during each shift Restock toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other supplies Respond quickly to spills, messes, or other restroom concerns Report plumbing or maintenance issues to management Entrances and Service Drive Sweep and clean dealership entrances, walkways, and service drive areas Clean entrance glass, doors, handles, and high-touch surfaces Empty exterior trash receptacles and cigarette urns Address dirt, mud, rainwater, and other weather-related tracking General Duties Respond promptly to spills and cleaning requests Perform light touch-up cleaning as directed by dealership staff or the site supervisor Report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and supply shortages Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude Follow all safety procedures and site-specific cleaning requirements Qualifications Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or day porter experience is preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail Dependable transportation and consistent attendance Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift Professional and respectful when interacting with customers and dealership employees Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors around vehicle traffic Schedule 4-hour shifts 6 days per week Approximately 24 hours per week Shifts will take place during dealership operating hours Specific days and hours will be confirmed based on site needs Why Join City Wide Facility Solutions?
