Position Summary As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of cleaning staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for supervising janitorial and housekeeping employees, coordinating daily work assignments, conducting inspections, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills to effectively manage staff and deliver exceptional service to clients. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and support janitorial and housekeeping staff. Schedule employee shifts and assign daily cleaning tasks. Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality standards are consistently met. Monitor compliance with safety policies, cleaning procedures, and company regulations. Address client concerns, special requests, and service-related issues professionally and promptly. Coordinate cleaning schedules and workflow to maximize efficiency and productivity. Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, performance, and completed work. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment. Assist with ordering, receiving, and organizing supplies and materials as needed. Provide coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing training to team members. Resolve employee conflicts and promote a positive work environment. Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of cleaning equipment. Assist with special cleaning projects and emergency service requests when necessary. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous supervisory experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, housekeeping, or a related field preferred. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safety practices. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical activities for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to operate cleaning equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
