$17.50 /hour Job Summary The Custodian will ensure that buildings, facilities, grounds, and equipment of the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County are maintained, cleaned, and operated in the most efficient, safest, and best possible condition at all times. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and prioritize own work to meet deadlines and accomplish assigned tasks within established timelines Maintain an orderly work environment and perform tasks in a safe manner Safely use cleaning agents, materials, and equipment with skill and efficiency Cleans classrooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and related facilities Sweeps, mops, scrubs floors Vacuums rugs and carpets Dusts furniture; empties and cleans trash receptacles Cleans walls, furniture, windows, and other equipment Cleans door and window glass and drinking fountains Washes, scrubs, and disinfects restrooms Assists in the setup and arrangement of furniture and facilities for meetings and other special events Responds to emergency cleanups Lock and unlock assigned buildings or rooms Attend Safety Committee Meetings as assigned by Facilities Director Work with team on any other duties/activities as assigned Meet the physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform assigned duties Position may sometimes require the ability to work irregular hours or rotate shifts

Experience & Qualifications Must-Have:

• High school or equivalent education
• Be able to climb ladders, lift moderately heavy equipment, and operate custodial and grounds equipment
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills in working with people and interacting with the public
• Ability to keep records and do minor analytical work
• Customer service-oriented and motivated to provide quality work at all times
