Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures during cleaning tasks. Conduct sanitation procedures to eliminate germs and bacteria, ensuring compliance with health standards. Use custodial tools and equipment effectively for tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, window washing, and trash removal. Assist with facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and general upkeep to support overall building operations. Follow safety protocols diligently during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks to prevent injuries. Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies inventory, and safety inspections to ensure operational efficiency. Skills Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments with a solid understanding of janitorial best practices. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers with confidence. Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures to ensure safe use of cleaning products. Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting practices when moving heavy objects or supplies. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed. Familiarity with custodial responsibilities including sanitation standards and facilities maintenance routines. Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while performing cleaning duties in various settings such as residential or industrial facilities.
