Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential and office spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning to ensure a pristine environment. Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain health standards and prevent contamination. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed. Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively to clean floors, carpets, surfaces, and outdoor areas. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or cleaning supplies while adhering to safety guidelines. Maintain high standards of cleanliness by regularly cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and outdoor spaces. Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service. Follow established housekeeping management protocols to ensure consistency and quality in all cleaning activities. Manage time efficiently to complete daily tasks within scheduled periods without compromising quality. Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use for safety and longevity. Skills Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise. Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation practices. Familiarity with various cleaning detergents, tools, and equipment used in professional cleaning settings. Ability to perform outdoor work when required, including patio or exterior space maintenance. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
