ESSENTIAL DUTIES
: Cleans the service and customer areas. Performs routine building maintenance in such a manner as to minimize interruption of customers or employees. Washes all windows, glass doors and glass panels throughout body shop area. Mops and cleans service waiting area, offices, technicians' locker room and lunch room, halls, and shop bathroom. Sweeps technician stalls, body shop floors, showroom, halls, and vending areas. Cleans all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans, and vending machines. Cleans bathrooms and restocks paper supplies as needed. Cleans driveway, parking area, sidewalks, and debris as necessary. Empties and cleans lunchroom refrigerator once a week. Cleans all body shop power equipment. Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside. Removes all debris from lot. Cleans oil storage tanks according to procedures. Drains and disposes of used oil filters properly. Removes any old scrap parts from body shop after checking with parts manager. Returns cores to storage area. Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs. Runs errands as directed by foreman. Understands and complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations. Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection. Performs other duties as assigned. Other duties may be assigned.
