Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to maintain shiny, well-maintained flooring. Assist with industrial cleaning projects or specialized cleaning tasks in commercial or residential settings. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures, lighting, or other infrastructure components. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals in accordance with safety protocols. Contribute to a safe work environment by following health and safety guidelines during all cleaning activities. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care including buffing and polishing, and use of cleaning equipment. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery. Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Certification or experience in residential painting or facilities upkeep is a plus.
