This role is vital in ensuring a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning disciplines, including commercial and industrial cleaning, and possess a strong work ethic. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, along with skills in floor care, buffing, and facilities maintenance. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across multiple areas. Conduct specialized cleaning tasks including floor care, buffing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Maintain restrooms, kitchens, and common areas by disinfecting surfaces and replenishing supplies. Handle custodial responsibilities for both residential and commercial spaces as needed. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as painting touch-ups or minor repairs to ensure facility upkeep. Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary. Follow established health and safety guidelines to promote a safe working environment. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles, including custodial or facilities maintenance work. Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures and industrial cleaning techniques. Skilled in floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors. Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly. This position is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities while providing a clean environment that promotes health and productivity for all occupants.
