Overview Join our dynamic team as a Janitor/Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, spotless, and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for executing a variety of cleaning tasks with precision and enthusiasm, ensuring that every space meets high standards of hygiene and appearance. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across different areas of the facility Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing machines and floor polishers to maintain pristine surfaces Conduct deep cleaning tasks like restroom sanitation, window washing, and carpet cleaning to uphold health standards Assist with custodial maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, minor repairs, and ensuring supplies are stocked Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations Support facility maintenance by reporting any damages or issues requiring further attention Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and supply inventory Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning procedures Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus Knowledge of safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards Strong attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety Join us in creating clean, safe environments that make a difference every day!
