Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all facility areas Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums to maintain floors and surfaces in pristine condition Handle chemical agents safely while cleaning, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocols Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly Assist with custodial responsibilities related to facilities maintenance, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to maintenance teams Use proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large cleaning supplies Follow safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures Ability to operate cleaning equipment including floor buffers and other custodial tools effectively Strong manual handling skills with an understanding of safe lifting practices for heavy objects Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards Good communication skills and customer service orientation to interact professionally with staff and visitors Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders when necessary Join us in creating clean, safe environments that foster productivity and well-being!
