Janitor/Cleaner

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This role is vital in ensuring that all spaces are clean, organized, and well-maintained, contributing to a positive experience for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained. Handle industrial cleaning duties for larger facilities or specialized areas requiring deep cleaning or custodial services. Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold a pristine environment. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure quick resolution. Ability to commute to different locations. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and equipment. Knowledge of floor care procedures including buffing and polishing. Spanish/ English (Preferred) Have a strong understanding and comfortable dealing with alarms. Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning environments preferred. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or carpet cleaners is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Basic understanding of facilities maintenance tasks is advantageous.
