Job Description
Overview We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented full-time and part-time Hood Cleaning Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong sense of situational awareness and work ethic. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and functionality of commercial kitchen exhaust systems, ensuring they operate efficiently. Our technicians play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our customers while demonstrating leadership skills within the team. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of kitchen hood systems. Utilize learned knowledge and situational awareness to understand exhaust system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems with customer and company equipment Collaborate with team members to build and maintain a clean work environment. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and inquiries professionally in accordance with company policy. Maintain accurate records of services performed and report any additional needs for repairs or maintenance. Requirements Must have personal transportation to and from our North Port office. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, this is a very physically demanding job. Must be able to adhere to the schedule agreed on and adapt when necessary. Must be able to climb a ladder and work at heights, on roofs. Would be nice Experience as a service technician or in a similar role, within the cleaning or maintenance industry even better. Strong mechanical knowledge and situational awareness Familiarity with cleaning and repair techniques and commercial kitchen exhaust systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently. Leadership abilities to guide less experienced team members when necessary. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective customer and coworker interaction. Willingness to learn new techniques, adhere to company protocol and procedures, and adapt to changing technologies within the field.
