Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a professional appearance Handle industrial cleaning tasks, including the use of specialized equipment for large-scale sanitation projects Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and ensuring equipment is in good working order Manage janitorial supplies inventory, restocking materials as needed to ensure uninterrupted cleaning operations Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe work environment Requirements Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services within commercial or residential settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and industrial cleaning methods Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers and floor scrubbers effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Prior experience with facilities maintenance or residential painting is a plus but not required Commitment to safety standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly impact the comfort and safety of our community.
