As a team member, demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with patients, families, visitors and other employees Champion HCA's mission, vision and values; comply with the policies and procedures, ethical standards and code of conduct set forth by the company Maintains hospital and departmental equipment in clean, good condition Disinfects and cleans the facility following the CDC, OSHA and Infection Control Guidelines. To insure the esthetic and aseptic standards are met throughout the facility. Responsible for economical use of supplies. Follows BSI precautions when handling trash, soiled linen, and bio-hazardous waste. At completion of assigned duties, reports to manager / supervisor for additional projects. Participates in emergency preparedness drills, and actual emergencies as instructed. Follows all hospital and department safety policies and procedures at all times. Pick up trash, linen, and bio-hazard waste from soiled utilities, transporting in covered containers for final disposal outside the hospital. Label bio-hazard trash according to DOT guidelines. Keeps transportation containers clean and disinfected. Uses extreme caution when transporting trash, linen, bio-hazard waste through the halls. Does set-ups as needed in conference rooms, and outside meeting rooms. Reports any spills or improperly bagged waste to the manager / supervisor immediately.

High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience :
