A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Facilities Department Estimated pay range: $16.50 What You'll Do… As a Building Custodian your primary responsibilities will be to: Clean building floors including conference rooms by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming or using carpet cleaning machine. Dust office furniture, clean windows and sanitize surface areas including desks, tables and cabinets. Collect trash and recycling. Organize chairs in conference rooms. Cleans coffee pots and cabinets. Cleans floors and refrigerators inside and out. Notify Supervisor concerning need for other repairs. Clean and maintain stairwells, elevator rooms and electrical rooms. Sawgrass Showroom - Cleans and maintains showroom restrooms, collects trash, cleans windows and surfaces. Maintains and restocks all dispensers in Showroom restrooms. Clearance Center - Cleans and maintains concrete flooring, dusts, collects trash, sinks and any/all glass surfaces. Education & Work Experience:
High school diploma/GED High School Equivalent/Trade School At least one (1) year of office cleaning experience
Work Environment & Schedule:
40 hours per week in a corporate office and showroom setting that includes one weekend day per week.
Physical Requirements:
Physical work including bending and lifting up to 25 lbs. are required.
